Charming building in a quiet area, a short walk from town. Our room was cozy and stylish, with an amazing bathroom. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast options were good. Just a few minor issues here and there, but overall a lovely stay.

Neat and delightful room with drinks, a bath and air conditioning for an overnight stay. Central location, excellent base for discovering Cheltenham.
No lift at all.

Good standard of rooms, bar and restaurant. Usually stay at the queens but will make sure I stay at the hotel du vin from now on. Rooms were of a good size and had everything you needed. Nice bathrooms also. Booked.net was also the cheapest compared to other sites.

The staff were efficient, had a very very good stay during our visit. Our new-fashioned and brilliant room came with tea/coffee, drinks, as for instance. We was offered a satisfactory breakfast at 9.40am. Overall we loved the stay and recommend.

review: The hotel has a lovely ambiance with spacious, well-decorated rooms, and the superb breakfast offers a good range of options. Staff were mostly accommodating, though service could improve, especially during busy meal times. Proximity to central Cheltenham is a bonus, but parking can be challenging. , rating: 7, date of stay: 2023-10-10}

The check-in process was smooth, thanks to a helpful staff member who provided great local tips. The hotel's location made it easy to explore the town on foot. My room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, allowing for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was satisfying, though I missed having brown sauce, which I think should be a staple.

the monsoon shower was really good
food - starters good - main course - fish overcooked and my rosti rock hard (underneath my steak hache)- a single wardrobe is not big enough to hang your clothes up in (fine if on your own for a short trip) room too small too have a bath in front of the bed -

The rooms were immaculate, beautifully furnished- an nespresso machine & a choice of Sunday papers left outside the room to name a few of the little extras

we had a pleasant stay at du vin, enjoying a great location that allowed easy access to shops while remaining quiet. the room we stayed in was comfortable, and the staff were generally friendly, contributing positively to our experience. the breakfast was delicious, and the dinner package offered good value for money, especially when applied to the steak offer.
Some areas need a refresh 🏨, and parking wasn’t ideal.

It was in a convenient location
There was no parking, the staff werent the best - one even talked about other custiners in a degoritory manner to us. The night service was poor - 1st night bar lady could not do enough, second night poor young lad had to serve us - didnt even know what vodka was. Asked for room service in the bar after hours, but was advised no, would only be sent to the room. Considering the cost of this hotel, I didnt think it was up to much and have stayed in cheaper boutique hotels who cannot do enough for you. We wont be staying again or recommending it. Oh and another thing, you can only use the steam room if you are having treatments !

At any given weekend that includes Cheltenham Races all the hotels jack up their prices (fair enough i suppose) but in my 20 year experience of racing weekends only the HdV truly justifiers the price!
